We’re also a kid friendly office, and we want you to know that we enjoy patients of all ages!
MEET OUR TEAM
DR. Jarred Soon
Dentist
Dr. Soon is dedicated and determined to provide the best and most comfortable care to his patients of all ages. He attends continuing education courses regularly, keeping up with the ever-changing world of dentistry.
When Dr. Soon isn’t practicing dentistry, he’s likely working on his car, or spending time with his wife and two boys.
Erin
Administrator
Erin was raised in Spruce Grove, and joined our office in 2016. She obtained honors with her Medical Assisting Certificate from Choice College in 2003, she also has her Public Relations Diploma from Grant McEwan in 2013. She brings over 15 years of education and experience to our office.
Erin is a mom to two fabulous kids. When she’s not in the office you can find her out and about enjoying yoga classes, working out at the gym, or hiking with friends and family.
Marie
Dental Assistant
Marie was born in Yellowknife, and moved to Spruce Grove at the age of 10. After completing high school in 2008, she attended KDM College, where she graduated from the dental assisting program in 2012 at the top of her class. She has since been working as an assistant for Dr. Soon.
Marie enjoys having fun with patients; you will often find her smiling and laughing.
When Marie isn’t at the dental office, she likes keeping busy building puzzles, spending time with her husband Geoff, playing with her fluffy American Eskimo pup Squirt, and enjoying time with her one year old son, Logan. She is currently expecting her second child!
Sarah
Dental Assistant
Sarah was born and raised in Fort McMurray, and moved to the Spruce Grove area at the age of 16. After graduating high school, she took a few years off before attending the Dental Assisting program at NAIT in 2012. Sarah graduated with honours in June of 2013, and has been working in our office since then.
Sarah is dedicated to providing quality care to patients, while being very conscientious, gentle and caring of each individual’s needs.
During her time off, Sarah enjoys spending time outside – camping, sledding, or biking, and keeping busy with her family.
Cathy
Dental Hygienist
Cathy was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She joined our office in 2016. Cathy has her Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta in 2012, as well as her Bachelor of Science Degree – Specialization in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta in 2013. Cathy brings over 5 years education and experience to our office.
Cathys favorite thing about our office? Getting to know all of the wonderful patients we have!
When Cathy isn’t in the office you can usually find her enjoying spin classes, attending concerts, and trying out new restaurants in our city! She is also quite the world traveler, she has been all over the world, and is usually planning her next getaway.
Judy
Dental Hygienist
Judy has been a dedicated dental hygienist since 1986. She has a loyal following of patients who used to fear routine cleanings, but have since relaxed due to Judy’s gentle, yet thorough, techniques. She will always guide her patients towards better dental and oral health.
Her favorite thing about her job is meeting all the great people that come to our office! She loves hearing patient stories about their families and lives, and has been known to tell a few stories of her own.
Outside of work, Judy enjoys going camping and spending time with her family.
Brett
Dental Hygienist
Brett was born and raised in Spruce Grove. She started out as a patient of ours as a child and is now one of our hygienists! She gained her Bachelor of Science Degree – Specializing in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta in 2016.
Her favorite thing about working at our office is the people! Having great coworkers, and wonderful patients make coming to work so much more enjoyable!
When she is not in the office you can usually find her at the gym, traveling the world, or chasing after her puppy Bentley!
Theresa
Administrator
Theresa was raised on beautiful Vancouver Island and moved to Spruce Grove in 2009 after meeting her future husband in Mexico the year prior. She threw caution to the wind and left her family, friends and her career of 11 years in forestry to follow her heart.
After spending 5 years working in Edmonton for an orthodontist, she needed a change and to be closer to home for her son and found that here with Dr Soon. Needless to say, that was the best decision as she loves working in dental, has amazing co-workers and looks forward to coming to work each day! She enjoys getting to know all the patients and can usually be found singing along to every song that comes on throughout the day.
When not at the office, Theresa enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and son Deacon getting in as much camping & fishing as they can!
